Is it first come, first served?
No. The form adds volunteers to our WhatsApp community where upcoming drives are shared. We confirm volunteers based on availability for each date. Each session has a limit of about 12 volunteers; if demand is higher we may organise an additional drive the same day at another location.
Do volunteers bring the food?
Yes. We don't collect funds; each volunteer contributes items directly and we encourage teaming up. We aim for a minimum of 400 items per drive because workers often wait in line a long time.
Can students get certificates or proof?
We can provide photos and videos from sessions and WhatsApp participation records, and we collaborate with student volunteer programmes where participation can be verified. With consent, we feature volunteers on Instagram.
Why do you ask my age?
To understand our community — for example, noting under-18s for parental consent and future youth opportunities.
